Area D operates at the edges of the discipline in collaboration with other fields to explore and re-invent the many intersections between architecture, design and the “everything else”. Architecture or design are small, but it can tackle big and powerfully ideas, and engage the critical gravity of our time. Our work is committed to moving beyond the projected to the possible if we refashion architecture as a performative process and tool to reenvision our environment. We work hard with stubborn freshness, lightness and optimism to learn from the past and imagine a different and better future.
Graduated in Architecture from FAUP - Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto in 2001.
Developed a career in project management, building inspection and construction companies, assuming the positions of architecture department manager, and in 2010 created the Area D which is the founding owner.
Perfected in the field of single-family houses dwelling especially on the high and luxury segment as well as in interior architecture to stores.
